RealScout is a new cutting edge easy to use home search tool finally available to the masses and out of beta testing. I was involved with the early on testing here in the Portland market and became a fan immediately. The ease of use, features, and customization options are all top notch.

Ease Of Use
The RealScout interface is easy to use and understand, for both the realtor and the client. While searching for a home(s) you can very easily communicate back and forth about any home(s) that may match your search criteria.

Features
Easily see if there is an open house scheduled, or how long the home has been on the market. Have you ever wanted to compare 3 of your saved homes side by side, room by room for each house? Well, you can do that too! Have you ever wanted to know the commute times to your office, daycare, school or any other frequently visited locations? RealScout has that feature as well, just plug in your frequently used addresses and RealScout will show your travel times from any home search.

Customization
RealScout has a built-in tool that will allow you to pick and choose thumbs up or thumbs down over 150 options like, Yard, Gourmet Kitchen, Next to 24HR Fitness, Hardwood Floors, Near Trader Joes etc. This tool allows you to really dial in your likes and dislikes to help you quickly and easily find your dream home

After you have found your dream home RealScout is still useful to you. Have you ever wanted to know what that home down the street sold for? With RealScout you can set up a monthly update for active, pending and sold homes in your immediate neighborhood. All of my clients find this option very useful. It allows them to stay current with the real estate market in their neighborhood. Just set it and forget it…the alerts will show up in your inbox monthly.
